If you may wish to Join
If you feel you may wish to join the Gosport Local History Luncheon Club. You can just come along to a meeting on the third Thursday of the month (except April, August and January) at 12 noon in the Christchurch Parish Hall behind the Church on Stoke Road, Gosport PO12 1JQ . If you want lunch, there would normally be one available. If you wish to make sure that there is a lunch for and for members to be looking out for you, you can contact:

Cost of meeting, if just for the talk and meeting £2.50
or full meeting and the ploughman’s lunch, tea/ coffee biscuits £6 (extra £3.50)
There is no annual subscription, you just pay when you go to a meeting though we do ask if you have the lunch, to let us know if you will not be attending or do not require a lunch for the next meeting, by the end of Tuesday before that meeting. If not we ask for a £2 contribution towards the cost of a wasted lunch.
A programme for the year is available when you join and from November for the following year. You can receive a reminder is you are happy to give an email address or by post for a contribution towards postage of £3 per year.

Warning for Wet or Ice Weather
If coming to a meeting when it is wet or icy, please take care when walking round the Church as it can become slippery. A safer route may be from the behind the Church from the side road, in Avenue Road.
Don’t forget, you can just come for the talks, Lunch and chat, or you can take part doing you own research, talk and presentation. As much or as little as you want. There are people there who will be willing to help as little or as much as you wish.
